Playlists

It is a list of assets that are placed into sequences and cycled through repeatedly. You can assign playlists to multiple screens. It consists of a left menu, a workspace, and a right menu.

The search bar helps you search for a playlist. To sort your playlist in a particular order, click on the sorting icon, and a drop-down menu showing all the sorting options appears. By default, the playlists are arranged in descending order of their creation. The Home section displays the created Playlists. Before we explore other functionalities let’s first create a Playlist.

Create a Playlist

1. Click on the option. The New Playlist template appears in the workspace.
2. Click on the New Playlist icon and provide it with a name. For example, Business Highlights.

3. Drag and Drop the asset from the right menu to the playlist.

• Additional settings: Click on the icon to edit the time duration (in secs) for which the playlist plays. Click on the icon to delete the playlist. Click on the icon to

  1. Scale Image/Video/Document: It takes any image that does not match the display's aspect ratio and applies fit options (Fit, Stretch, Zoom, None) as selected.

  2. Shuffle: It plays the playlist randomly.

  3. Default Transition: It sets the transition animation for the playlist.

  4. Transition Speed: It sets the transition speed for the playlist.

  5. Background Music: It sets a file to play music over the entire playlist, or a URL for audio from TuneIn, YouTube, or others.

• Click on the icon to assign your playlist to a screen. Select the Target and Screen from the drop-down menu. While selecting the Target you can choose Tags to assign the playlist to all the screens that are contained in the Tag.
• A preview of the screen is shown in the dialog box. Click on the option to view options like refresh, pair/unpair, orientation, etc. Once, configured click on the option and the playlist starts to stream on the screen(s).
• Click on the option to preview your Playlist.
• Click on the option to add an existing playlist to your playlist.
• Click on the option to scale, set transition speed, and background audio of the playlist.
• Click on the three-dot menu to move or duplicate the playlist to another folder.

• The Playlist is saved automatically and listed in the Home section of the left menu.

Folder

A folder stores multiple playlists.

Create a Folder

1. To move your playlist into a folder select the playlists and click on the Move To option.
2. Select the folder from the dialog box and click Move.

   
3. The Playlists are moved to the selected folder. Click on Home to go back to the Playlists.

Right Menu

The option helps you search for created Files/Assets.
