Platform Installation

• Click on the software (.ISO) file option. The Userful installation screen appears.

  
• Click on the Install Userful 12.8 option.

Installation Process

Prerequisite Connect a keyboard, mouse, and monitor to the server.

• Insert the USB (install media) into the server.

• Reboot the server, and watch for the messages on the boot.

• Enter the Boot menu and select Boot from the USB option.

• Click on the software (.ISO) file option. The Userful installation screen appears.

  
• Click on the Install Userful 12.7.1 option. The system begins loading its initial files.

  
• Select your preferred language and click .

  
• The INSTALLATION SUMMARY screen appears.

  

Localization Keyboard: Use this option to configure keyboard settings and adjust the keyboard language. Language Support: Use this option to change the language you wish to operate the platform. Time & Date: Use this option to configure the Time & Date. Click on the Time & Date option. This opens the TIME & DATE screen. Drag and drop the location pointer on your location on the world map to update the time and date.

System Installation Destination: Use this option to modify the destination on which the application is installed.

Network & Host Name This option helps you configure the network settings and hostname.

Once configured, click Done. The INSTALLATION SUMMARY screen appears.

• Click on the option. A progress bar indicates that the installation is in progress appears.
• Click on the option, once the installation is complete.

  

After the system reboots, the Initial Setup screen appears.

Only the IT administrators or platform admin users are authorized to do a new installation of the Userful Infinity Platform. Please get in touch with Userful’s Technical Support team for assistance.

Initial Setup

1. This screen helps you set up the password for the Administrator account. The administrator account's default username is admin. The system prompts you to set the password for the admin account only during the initial installation.

   

   The administrators can create other application users. For more details, refer to the User Management section.

2. Click Submit. The Site Creation screen appears.

3. Enter the Access URL. This URL will be used to access the Userful Infinity Platform by all users.

   
4. Note that this is an optional step. To configure HTTPS, enable the HTTPS Control Center option. You can either select the Self-Signed Certificate option or add an SSL certificate. To Add an SSL Certificate-

   • Copy the SSL certificate details into the field, or Click on the option. A dialog box appears. Select the file and click Open. The certificate gets uploaded.
   • Copy the SSL certificate Private Key details into the field or Click on the option. A dialog box appears. Select the file and click Open. The file gets uploaded.

   Please ensure the access URL is in the same domain as the SSL Certificate.

5. Click on the option. The Login screen appears.
6. Enter the username and password and click Sign In.
7. The Userful Infinity Platform home page appears.
