You can use the Web Browser Source Type in Userful to display dashboards to Destination screens using Trends or Decisions. Although this is not an integration with other applications, it can be an easy and convenient way to display data dashboards from browsers to Destination screens.
In your Userful account, navigate to Sources and Destinations.
Click Sources in the left pane.
Click Create Source at the top right corner.
Add a name and description for your Source.
Select the Source Type as Web Browser from the drop-down menu.
Select a Thumbnail.
Select the browser from the drop-down menu.
Enter the URL where the dashboard is hosted.
Enter the Refresh Interval.
Select the Framerate.
Enable the Show mouse pointer option if you want.
Select the Session Persistence option.
To add more settings and permissions, go to the next step. Else, click Save.
Click the Advanced tab to add Resolution and Scaling, and to enable/disable Source Sharing.
Click the Permissions tab to add permissions for apps (Decisions and Trends) as well as user groups.
Click Save.
In your Userful account, navigate to Trends.
Click the Sources icon (cube-shaped icon) in the bottom tray. You will be able to view the Source you created if you have given app permissions for Trends.
Drag and drop the Source to a Mapping Group.
Click the Destinations icon (screen-shaped icon) in the bottom tray.
Drag and drop a Destination to the Mapping Group.
Tip: To view the dashboard using an Interactive viewer, click on the three-dot menu and select Interactive Viewer.
If the dashboard requires authorized access, log in by providing the login credentials. A Desktop Streamer (VNC) session opens in a new tab.
Note:
If the Retain option is enabled, the platform will save the details of this session.
When you un-map a Source from a Mapping Group, the Session Persistence option is disabled automatically, and the Interactive Viewer will no longer have access to the dashboard.
With the Multi-window option, you can add multiple Sources in a Mapping Group separated by grids.
In Trends, click Multi-window in the left panel.
Click Create Multi-window.
Add a name and description for your Mapping Group.
Enter the Latency and Resolution for the Destination.
Select Behavior and Frame rate limit.
Select GPU: The application automatically detects the GPU, but you can select from available options if required.
Optional: Click the Permissions tab and enable permissions for selected user groups.
Click Save changes.
The Multi-window Mapping Group appears in the main tab.
Under Grid Properties on the right side, enter the number of Rows and Columns based on the number of Sources you want to add.
Drag and drop Sources to each box from the bottom tray.
Navigate to Mapping Groups in the left panel. You will see the newly created Multi-window Mapping group displayed here.
Click the Destinations icon (screen-shaped icon) in the bottom tray.
Drag and drop Destinations next to the Multi-window Mapping Group. The Destinations will stream the multiple Sources added in the grid.
If a Sources require authentication, click on the three-dot menu and select Interactive Viewer. The content of the Source appears in a new window.
Enter the login credentials to authenticate your session.
