uClients

How do I restart uClients?
  1. In your Userful Infinity account, navigate to Admin Center > System Configuration > Endpoints > uClients.

  2. Click the three-dot menu corresponding to the uClient connected to your display.

  3. Click Restart. A confirmation dialog appears.

  4. Click Restart again.

How do I power off and power on a uClient?
  1. In your Userful Infinity account, navigate to Admin Center > System Configuration > Endpoints > uClients.

  2. Click the three-dot menu corresponding to the uClient connected to your Destination.

  3. Select Power off display. The Destination turns off.

  4. Select Power on display. The Destination powers back on.

Power off/on multiple uClients

  1. In your Userful Infinity account, navigate to Admin Center > System Configuration > Endpoints > uClients.

  2. Select the uClients you want to power off/on using the checkboxes option at the left.

  3. Click the Actions menu and select Power off displays. The uClients turn off.

  4. Click the Actions menu and select Power on displays. The uClients turn back on.

How do I power cycle a uClient?
  1. Unplug the power cable of the uClient.

  2. Wait for 10 seconds and replug the power cable to the uClient.

How do I pair and unpair a uClient device?
  1. In your Userful Infinity account, navigate to Admin Center > System Configuration > Endpoints > uClients.

  2. Look for the name of your uClient in the list.

  3. Enable the corresponding Assigned Server toggle to pair the uClient with the server. To unpair, disable the Assigned Server toggle.

How do I update to the latest version of a uClient?
  1. In your Userful Infinity account, navigate to Admin Center > System Configuration > Endpoints > uClients.

  2. Click the three-dot menu corresponding to your uClient.

  3. If your uClient is not updated, you will see the Update app option available in the drop-down. Click Update app. A confirmation dialog appears.

  4. Click Update uClient app to proceed.

Destinations

How do I enable Destinations IDs?

You can enable the Show ID option from the Sources & Destinations section or the different apps.

From Sources & Destinations

  1. In your Userful account, navigate to Sources & Destinations.

  2. In the left pane, click Destinations.

  3. Select one or more destinations.

  4. Click the Actions drop-down menu at the top.

  5. Select Show ID. The IDs will be displayed in the selected Destinations.

From the apps

  1. In Decisions, Trends, Artistic, Engage, or Spaces, navigate to the bottom tray that displays Sources and Destinations.

  2. Click the Destinations icon (screen-shaped icon).

  3. To display the ID of an individual Destination, click the three-dot menu on a Destination card and select Show ID. To display IDs of all Destinations, enable the Show ID toggle at the right side.

Chrome

How do I update Chrome in Userful Infinity?

When there is a new Chrome update available, you might see a notification on your Destination saying Chrome is not updated. You can update Chrome packages from the General Settings section of Userful Infinity.

  1. In your Userful Infinity account, navigate to Admin Center > System Configuration > General Settings.

  2. Click the refresh icon next to Check for System Updates. The tab will show the availability of Chrome updates.

  3. Click and select the Chrome update.

  4. Click Begin installing packages.

Schedules

How do I use Schedules to create sleep and wake-up times for Destinations?
  1. In your Userful Infinity account, navigate to Admin Center > System Configuration > Schedules.

  2. Drag your cursor and select a time slot in the calendar. A Create Event menu appears.

  3. Add an Event Title.

  4. Under Event Type, select uClient > Power off displays or Power on displays.

  5. Enter the time of the event and enable recurrence if required.

  6. Click Save Changes.

App permissions

How do I manage app permissions for access to a Source from applications?

You can edit app permissions for each Source to make it available or unavailable from the different applications.

  1. In your Userful Infinity account, navigate to Sources & Destinations.

  2. In the Sources list, you will be able to view the apps in which each Source is available.

  3. To add or remove permissions for a Source, click the three-dot menu corresponding to the Source.

  4. Select Edit. The Edit Source pane appears.

  5. Click the Permissions tab.

  6. Click and select the apps in which you need to make the Source available. You can also click and unselect an app to make the Source unavailable.

  7. Click Save.

VPN

How do I enable VPN?
  1. In your Userful Infinity account, navigate to Admin Center > System Configuration > Support.

  2. Enable the toggle for Remote VPN Connection.

View server uptime

How do I view the last reboot time and server uptime?
  1. In your Userful Infinity account, navigate to Admin Center > System Configuration > General Settings.

  2. Scroll to the bottom of the page to view Server Uptime and Last Reboot time.
