Version 12.8.3

  • uClient player Mapping Group content does not recover after a network loss on a video wall uClient. Workaround: Unmap and then re-map the Destination.

  • When an HDMI Capture Source (with no actual input) is removed from a Canvas, it is not removed entirely and remains in the backend. This issue does not happen when an input from the HDMI Source is present. Workaround: Reboot the system.

  • Remote Desktop insets show white screens during server reboot. Workaround: No workaround is available currently.

  • If you do not have an HTTPS connection, sometimes the Paste Clipboard button does not work in the Interactive Viewer. Workaround: No workaround is available currently.

  • The right-click options do not function in the Interactive Viewer. Workaround: Right-click is disabled on some websites in Chrome's kiosk mode. Change your web browser settings if you wish to use right-click.

  • The Toggle CapsLock button in the Interactive Viewer does not work inside VNC Viewer Sources. Workaround:

    • To enable CapsLock, first make sure “CapsLock” is turned off. Press the right Shift key and any other key to enable CapsLock.

    • To disable CapsLock, press the left Shift key to disable CapsLock.

  • Creating and editing Schedules for DV-LED Controllers from System Configuration > Schedules does not work as expected. Workaround: No workaround is available currently.

  • Under System Configuration > Network Settings if you make a change without enabling the DHCP server checkbox, it will disable the DHCP server. Workaround: Delete everything in the IP field and enable the DHCP server checkbox.

  • Audio does not work when an HDMI Capture Source is mapped with the XClient option enabled. Workaround: Disable the XClient option while creating the HDMI capture Source.

  • If you use a Destination that was previously playing local uClient content to create a video wall, then map, unmap and remap a media Source in Artistic, the Destination gets stuck on the last frame for some time. Workaround: No workaround is available currently.

  • Individual Power-on and Power-off Schedules created from System Configuration without using the Repeat option do not work. Workaround:

  1. Navigate to System Configuration > Endpoints.

  2. Click the three-dot menu next to the endpoint you want to switch on or off.

  3. Click Power on Display or Power off Display as required.

You can also use the Repeat option as a workaround to create multiple recurring Schedules.

  • When a user changes the date range while on the last page of Event logs, they see a blank page. Workaround: Click and select an available page in the results.

  • While failover is set up, restoring a backup on the primary server while the standby secondary server is online triggers failover. It also causes the restoration to fail.

Workaround: Delete the failover configuration before restoring the backup.
